TVEC Injects $2.2M into Local Economies

More than $2.2 million is being pumped into local economies within the TVEC service area in the form of capital credits. Current and former members who received electric service from the cooperative during 1984 are eligible for refunds.

In plain terms, capital credits are akin to dividends and are paid to members from year-end margins.

For current members who were members during 1984, bill credits are being issued during the month of December. Checks have been mailed to those who are no longer TVEC members.

The retirement of capital credits is just one of the many benefits of being a co-op member.
