The Forney Rotary and the Forney Police Department have joined forces to help families in need this holiday season.

Tiffany Hopkins, Forney Police Department, said the "Forney Police department has put together a recommended list of families in the city limits that need assistance this holiday season with needs from toys to clothing."
In addition to the toys and clothing, Santa Cops will also deliver a Christmas dinner.
To date, thirty one families have applied for assistance. The Santa Cops are expecting up to fifty families to request help this holiday season.
To help meet the needs of the Santa Cops program, earlier this week the Forney Rotary Club presented a One Thousand Dollar check to the Forney Police Department to help launch the “Santa Cops” program.
If you have a need this holiday season, you can contact Tiffany Hopkins at the Forney Police Department at 972-552-3932, ext 111.
If you would like to help with toys or clothing, drop off locations for new, unwrapped toys, and clothing items for not only children but their parents, are located at various businesses around town.
Cash donations can be brought to the Forney Police Department.
