Accident on FM 548 Sends One to Hospital

At approximately 5:30 p.m. Monday evening, an accident near the busy intersection of FM 548 and Highway 80, in front of the Murphy gas station, sent one to the emergency room.

According to Police on the scene, a vehicle in the north bound lane on FM 548 was behind another vehicle waiting to turn left into the Starbucks when her vehicle was hit from behind.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit complained of neck and back pain, and was sent to a hospital via ambulance as a precaution.
