On Thursday October 29th, the Brown Middle School Symphonic Band under the direction of Laura Lewis performed their 2009 Fall Concert for family and friends in North Forney High School Auditorium.  

The Symphonic Band opened the concert with the BMS School Song and BMS Fight Song then moved onto Armed Forces on Parade in honor of Veterans Day. 

They then played Tunes That Go Bump in the Night in acknowledgment of the Halloween

Holiday and closed the short concert with Primordium. 

This is Director Lewis’s second year with Brown Middle School although she has eleven years experience as a band director. 

Lewis stated “I am very proud of these students.  They worked hard in 2 ½ months and learned some very difficult literature.” 

On December 14th, the BMS Symphonic Band long with the 7th Grade Beginners will perform their holiday concert at North Forney High School.
