On Tuesday night, the men's varsity basketball team opened their season at home against Jefferson-Dallas Patriots, defeating them handily 72-48.
This team is quick, and has potential to be explosive, but gauging by the talent they played last night, it is hard to tell how good this team may really be.
By the time the first half ended, the score was already 49-16.
For most of the game, the Jackrabbits dominated in both offensive and defensive rebounds. They simply out hustled the Patriots and crowded the boards.

For the game, Junior Guard Jordan Hancock scored twelve points, followed by: Junior Forward Zac Seaman with eleven, Sophomore Post Grant Shaw with eleven, Sophomore Guard Johnerics Quirondongo with eleven, Junior Guard Darrien Luckie with eight, Senior Post Leighton Luckie with seven, Junior Forward Jacob McGee with six, Senior Guard Bret Kendrick with four, and Junior Post Steven Rosado with two. |
