On November 14th, the Forney Saints played the Wylie Pirates and came away with the Lone Star Youth Football League Super Bowl, winning 21 to 13.
The Forney Saints and the WCYFA Pirates are both in the Lone Star Youth Football League, which consist of eight little league football teams from Garland, Rowlett, Heath, Royse City, Rockwall and Wylie.
Reportedly in was a very close game. Wylie did have two touchdown attempts with 30 seconds left in the game, but the Saints defense proved too effective for the Pirates resulting in the Saints win.
Congratulations to all the players of the Forney Saints!
